B.Frank TROXELL, of Fallentimber, died June 26, 1958 at home (Roseland). He was born May 9, 1868 in Roseland, one of 11 born to Alexander and Matilda (Gates) Troxell. He was a retired farmer. His wife, Catherine (Fleming) died 7 years ago, after 62 years of married life. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs Linnie Matthews , at home; and 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister: C.J. Troxell, Clarence, Mrs Nancy Thomas. Interment at Pleasant Hill cemetery,Glasgow, Pa. (Altoona Mirror, 27 June 1958).

Mrs Matilda Troxell, widow of Alex Troxell of Glasgow, died on January 26, 1925 at the old homestead. She is the daughter of Levi and Sarah (Concord) Gates of Flinton, and was born there February 22, 1841. She married Alex on October 2, 1859, who died 8 years ago. Funeral services will be at the Roseland UB Church. Surviving children are: Charles of Ebensburg; Mrs Emma Fleming of Flinton, Mrs Rebecca Peterson, Frank and Jay of Glasgow; Mrs Mina Sneath of Flinton, Calvin Troxell, and Mrs Margaret Cornelius of Cresson, Clarence of Johnstown, Mrs Nancy Thomas of Blandburg, and Mrs Sarah Beers at home; a sister Mrs Rebecca Troxell of Glasgow; Brother Pete Gates of Flinton; 60 grandchildren and 74 great grandchildren.
